Joy will guide you step-by-step in a wildflower scene painting at the Le Doubblé Troubblé Wine Co. in downtown White Salmon. A fast-drying acrylic painting will be ready to go home with you! This is a fun, and relaxing workshop, so bring a friend and enjoy. Joy has over 25 years of experience teaching art – learn from the best!
Le Doubblé Troubblé Wine Co. showcases single vineyard wines from the Willamette Valley and the Columbia Gorge. Pinot Noir holds their heart, but they dabble in many other varieties, including Chardonnay, Merlot, Gewurztraminer, and Rose of Grenache.
Joy Kloman
Joy of Joy’s Art Studio has been offering painting parties and art classes for adults and children in Hood River for seven years. She has 28 years of experience teaching art to all ages and all levels. Prior to opening Joy’s Art Studio, Joy Kloman was a tenured associate professor at the University of Mississippi, who supervised graduate and undergraduate painting programs.
Professor Kloman also taught drawing in London. Joy Kloman was the recipient of a Mississippi Arts Commission Individual Artist State Grant. She has had work displayed in The Drawing Center Viewing Program & Slide Registry, NY. Kloman attended an artist residency in Hungary. Her art is in many private and public collections including, Balatonfüred City Hall, Ringling Museum of Art, Gulf Coast Museum of Art, Pensacola Museum of Art, and Meridian Museum of Art.
