Join the US Forest Service Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Field Rangers at Catherine Creek Recreation site for a day of guided hikes, educational stations, and watercolor painting!

Guided Hikes will be held at 9 am, 11 am, and 2 pm. Rangers will take you through the ADA loop south of Old Hwy 8 at Catherine Creek to discover and paint wildflower species. You will leave with a frameable masterpiece that reflects the day you spent on the trail. If you do not want to paint or draw, Field Rangers will provide you with tips and tricks to get the best wildflower glamour photos during the guided hike. All watercolor materials provided.

A static educational station will be available at the trailhead from 9 am to 3:30 pm to discover Wildflower Biology using a digital microscope and wildflower specimens. You can also check out watercolor materials to use at your leisure if you do not want to join the formal guided hikes.
