Bloom & Dye Spring Bouquet Subscription is Open!
When asked what I wanted for Christmas this year, top on my list was a Bouquet Subscription from Bloom & Dye. Last spring and summer I would see these beautiful bouquets downtown White Salmon waiting to be picked up by their lucky owners. This spring I will be one of those lucky owners!
White Salmon Bouquets
White Salmon Bouquet subscription members receive hand-crafted bouquets filled with fresh blooms that follow the journey of the season from spring bulbs to a mix of unique annuals and perennials through all the gems of fall—dahlias, zinnias, asters, and more. Bouquets are delivered bi-weekly for same-day pick-up in White Salmon at Feast after 11 am. Pick up days: Wednesdays: March 31, April 14, April 28, May 12, May 26, June 9.
Get to Know Bloom & Dye
Bloom & Dye is situated on an 18-acre WSDA certified organic property along the White Salmon River in Trout Lake, Washington. Designer, artist, educator, and native Oregonian, Julie Beeler grew up with a deep love and curiosity for the natural world. Along with her husband, Brad Johnson, she founded and led Second Story, an interactive design studio in Portland until 2012. A Trout Lake resident since 2014, Julie conceived and launched Bloom & Dye in 2018 to grow her work and passion to benefit what she values most: curiosity, education, creativity, collaboration, community, and the environment.
Educating Others
Growth often starts with conversations that lead to an interest in knowing more. For Julie, educating others on how plants and their colors reflect the beauty of nature is something she is moved to share as a way to inspire care, stewardship, and impact. When she is not digging in the soil, working in her art studio, or leading workshops, Julie teaches Creative Entrepreneurship in the Applied Craft + Design MFA program at PNCA in Portland, Oregon.
