Want to enjoy the live music at Mountain Town Throwdown for free? Volunteer for a shift and your entry to the Big Tent is on us!

Mountain Town Throwdown is a community event—and it takes a great crew of volunteers to make it happen. In exchange for a volunteer shift, you’ll receive free entry to the live music Big Tent.

Choose a shift that works for you, lend a hand, and then stick around to enjoy the music, vendors, food and all the fun of Mountain Town Throwdown.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have a variety of jobs available throughout the day, from helping vendors get set up to pouring beer & wine, checking tickets and keeping things running smoothly.

Before the Event

Vendor & General Setup | 12:30–3 PM
Help us get the event ready for the day! Assist with vendor and general event setup.

Vendor Coordinator | 12–8 PM
Help vendors get where they need to be and serve as a point person throughout the event. This is a longer shift and is ideal for someone who likes being organized and helping people.

During the Event

Token Sales | 3-5:30, 5:30 – 7:30, 7:30 -9:45
Help guests purchase tokens and answer questions at the token sales area.

Pouring Team | 3–6 PM, 6-10PM
Help pour and serve wine and keep the tasting area running smoothly.

Alcohol Monitors | 5–7:30, 7:30 – 10
Help monitor the event and make sure alcohol service remains safe and compliant.
Alcohol monitors are in addition to event security.

Front Gate | 6–8PM, 8-10PM
Welcome guests, check admission and help attendees enter the Big Tent.

Floaters | 6-8PM, 8-10PM
Be our extra set of hands! Help with garbage, supplies and other needs as they come up, including helping craft vendors with breakdown beginning at 7 PM.

After the Event

Vendor Breakdown | 7–8:30 PM
Help vendors pack up and get their booths broken down and ready to go.

Event Tear Down | 10–11 PM
Help us clean up and pack everything away at the end of the night.
