Building Bonds and Caring for Paws: Tina’s Animal Care in the Heart of the Gorge

White Salmon, a mountain town nestled in the Columbia River Gorge, is becoming more than just a destination for outdoor enthusiasts—it’s also the new home of Tina’s Animal Care LLC. This thriving pet care business, originally launched in New Jersey, brings a heartwarming story of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for animals. Tina’s journey to White Salmon and her vision for building community ties offers a glimpse into the growing vibrancy of this area.

From Dreams of Veterinary Medicine to a Business Built on Passion

Tina, the founder of Tina’s Animal Care LLC, began her career in the animal industry at just 14 years old with dreams of becoming a veterinarian. However, life had other plans. “Owning my own business provides me with financial stability and a job I love waking up for every day,” she shares. By 2021, Tina started her business from scratch during college, and by 2022, it became her full-time job. Her dedication to animals and the people who care for them became the driving force behind her success.

After visiting Hood River for a wedding years ago, Tina fell in love with the area and decided to expand her business westward. “I figured I should go somewhere I’ve been at least once,” Tina says. “This was the perfect location for me!” Now, Tina is embarking on a new chapter, bringing her unique brand of animal care to the Pacific Northwest.

What Makes Tina’s Animal Care Special?

Tina’s Animal Care LLC stands out because of its commitment to all animals—regardless of their behavior or species. Services include nail trims, dog walking, pet sitting, transportation, and medication administration, all conducted in the comfort of clients’ homes. “There are so many pets that I trim nails for that people say are nightmares, but sometimes they just need the comfort of being in their familiar environment,” Tina explains.
Her veterinary experience and nonjudgmental approach allow her to care for even the most challenging pets. “Aggressive animals deserve high-quality love and care too,” she says. Tina’s focus on pets’ comfort and safety sets her apart, making her a trusted partner for animal lovers in White Salmon and beyond.

Building a Community-Focused Business

Tina’s passion for animals extends to her vision of creating a thriving community. While she continues to grow her business in White Salmon, Tina also works part-time at Arrowleaf Veterinary in Hood River and Grateful Vineyards. Both roles have helped her connect with the local community, which she describes as “more than welcoming.”
Her long-term goals include expanding her business to provide job opportunities. “I can’t wait until I can provide flexible, stress-free jobs for people in this community,” Tina says. She also envisions her business becoming a full-time commitment again, with word-of-mouth referrals strengthening her client base.
Tina’s story is a testament to the power of resilience and community support. As she puts it, “The community built from helping others makes me filled with gratitude. My clients and their pets have saved me in more than one way.”

Why White Salmon Residents Should Support Tina’s Animal Care

Tina’s dedication, experience, and genuine love for animals make her business a valuable addition to White Salmon. Whether you need someone to care for a timid pet or handle a high-energy dog, Tina’s Animal Care LLC promises reliable, compassionate service. Supporting her business not only helps pets but also fosters the kind of community spirit that makes White Salmon special.

For Tina, every pet and person she works with becomes part of her extended family. “I want to make people’s lives easier and have pets feel safe and filled with love,” she says. With Tina’s Animal Care now rooted in White Salmon, the town’s residents—and their furry friends—are in great hands.
