Anna Kai draws inspiration from the cycles of our natural world. Her paintings give thanks and admiration to the humble miracles nature consistently displays — Freeze to thaw, source to sea, salmon migrations, lichen patterns, intricate water ripples. She wants to continually notice these moments on a more connective level. Her hopes her paintings remind us to connect, appreciate and respect the natural world we inhabit.
