Level: Beginner – Intermediate | Maximum participants: 6
Get up close and personal with wildflowers and capture their beauty in a new dimension. Learn tips and tricks for capturing breathtaking close-up images of wildflowers at one of the wonderful trails in the Gorge. Participants will be able to work at their own pace while gaining valuable knowledge about unique perspectives and the tiny worldly details that macro photography has to offer. The instructor will guide you on how to see and capture the beauty of wildflowers from behind the lens.

Need: Participants must bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera with an interchangeable lens, a tripod, and either a macro lens, or one of the alternatives: Macro Extension Tubes, Reverse Macro Adapter, or Close Up Filters. Participants should have a basic understanding of the exposure triangle (ISO, Shutter, Aperture) and camera knowledge, including the ability to change settings. Weather-appropriate clothing, including a rain jacket and plastic bag to protect your camera, is also necessary. We will stay on the trail to ensure the preservation of the surrounding vegetation.
