White Salmon Valley Pool Open House November 13, 2025

The White Salmon Valley Pool project has been years in the making—and now, our community is closer than ever to bringing a new community pool to life. On Thursday, November 13, from 4-7 pm join neighbors, volunteers, and the Park District board at the White Salmon Elks for a Pool Open House to learn where the project stands, what comes next, and how you can help make the new pool a reality.

Since forming in 2019, the White Salmon Valley Pool Metropolitan Park District has worked steadily to establish the new district, plan the next generation of our local pool, and make substantial progress toward design and funding. Today, the project is 69% funded, thanks to community support, grants, and countless volunteer hours. Now, we’re working toward a critical goal: reaching 80% funding by December 31, 2025.

Why 80%? Hitting that milestone keeps the project on track to go out to bid in 2026 and open the new pool in 2027 – $900K needs to be raised by December 31, 2025, to do this. The finish line is within reach—but community involvement continues to be essential.

At the open house, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the project timeline and design progress

• Understand what funding has been secured and what remains

• Explore ways to donate, volunteer, support the build, or get involved

• Share your voice and vision for how the pool will serve our valley

This pool will be more than a place to swim—it will be a gathering space, a place to learn and play, a centerpiece for summer evenings, swim lessons, lap sessions, birthday parties, wellness classes, and the joy of simply being together.

We’ve come so far, and we need the community’s help to build the final stretch.
