Fall is here and it’s GIVEAWAY time again! And congratulations to our August and September winners!! We are so fortunate to live in a place where there are so many amazing small businesses–from our unique gift shops, the stellar food and drink options, and such talented creatives and health professionals!
Our Explore White Salmon website and social media pages, aims to focus on our immediate and nearby surrounding communities and to promote and spotlight these small businesses, while striving toward an emphasis on sustainable tourism. We also try our best to keep you informed of all upcoming events and happenings in and around White Salmon!

HOW IT WORKS
At the beginning of each month, we will partner with a local business in Downtown White Salmon. Each business owner will decide what they would like to donate. We will then highlight the details on our Instagram and Facebook pages.

If you’re not yet familiar with Marcel, it is a small curated design shop, styled with unusual beautiful second hand pieces for the home.
We asked Amy what she wanted to convey about opening up shop in Downtown White Salmon.
“Marcel has found its home in peaceful White Salmon, in the foothills of Mt Adams, amongst a community that takes care of one another. It is the perfect place to set up shop, as the energy from the land and the people is the fabric of the community. I’m always seeking peace of mind. I am very sensitive to my surroundings, whether it be a cold drip of rain on my head, a Pierre Bonnard painting of his lover in the bath, a barista having a bad day or an antique pink floral wallpaper in a historic Oregon hotel bathroom. I feel it all deeply.
This sensory has what led me to opening the doors of my sweet shop Marcel. You will find vintage furniture juxtaposed with crazy abstract colorful art and handmade objects. It will always be a surprise and an inspiration. May Marcel inspire you and bring you joy.”
