The TRU | DESIGN studio + showroom is built around the belief that a connection to art is so important. Art is intimate, while being expressive, and it brings people together. A thoughtfully created and curated piece, worn on your body or brought into your home were given with love and can be passed down so that love grows exponentially.

I earned my B.F.A. in Sculpture, working with bronze, iron, steel, wood & stone in a large format. [Think installation art + 7ft tall bronze pieces.] Postgraduate I stumbled into jewelry design + non-ferrous metals.  I learned traditional metalsmithing and modern jewelry making techniques apprenticing under master craftspeople and gemologists. Creating these small + intimate objects currently captures my creative intrigue. Process drives every piece: in combining time honored, old world techniques + craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic, each piece organically evolves to accentuate balance, originality and timelessness.
