The NeuHaus is a tastefully decorated 2,450sf mid-century modern home located just a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from downtown White Salmon. You’ll get absolutely amazing views of the Gorge and Mt Hood from the house and enjoy the outdoors from a large, 850 sf deck that wraps the south and east side of the home.
Located in the middle of a large lot, it’s very quiet and private with off street parking and a 2 car garage for storing toys such as kayaks, skis, or wind surfing equipment.
All of the bedrooms (with the exception of the small bedroom with 2 twin beds) feature separate entrances w/sliding glass doors that open to the outside.
The interior is modern and well decorated with cable TV located in the living room and downstairs suite. There is a fireplace in the living room and the kitchen is brand new and well equipped with a gas range and basic cooking amenities supplied. With another cable TV downstairs, that room can be used as a bedroom or family room and features a fully functioning sauna along with a full bath!
The house is situated on 1/2 acre of property and is well landscaped. With no neighbors or view restrictions to the east, it’s quite private with expansive views. There is a gas BBQ in the back patio area which is very secluded and an excellent place to get cozy and escape those White Salmon winds.
Although one of the best features of this house is it’s AMAZING views, that means it sits up high from the street therefore it’s not ideal for people with mobility issues, as the stairs and driveway are fairly steep. You can fit 2-3 cars in the driveway (if careful) and there is plenty of room in the garage for smaller vehicles and additional storage.
