Kristina at Rumours Hair Studio has stepped up to be our Featured Business and March Giveaway! 
If you’re unfamiliar with Rumours Hair Studio in downtown White Salmon, let’s introduce you! As a sole owner and operator, Kristina holds value in her work space, and the cozy environment of her private studio reflect just that–with living plants, books, complimentary beverages, and an open-minded, safe space for all. Her focus is good vibes, organic haircare and superior service!
Kristina aims to create a clean air space without harsh chemicals and loves being able to bring eco-friendly, cruelty free, non-toxic and biodynamic hair styling products to the Gorge! She loves creating effortless styles that flow with your everyday routine and has experience with all types of hair, including curly, razor, shear and clipper cuts. She also provides color services.
We asked Kristina a little about her life before she landed in White Salmon..
“I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and all my training comes from working and living in San Francisco and Los Angeles for many years before settling in the Gorge. My flare for self-expression came at an early age.”
What about your free time..
“I love hanging out with my beagle, Bowie, who you can find at the studio most days. And I love a good cup of coffee, classic movies, cooking and getting lost in the Gorge!”

We love chatting with our local small business owners, and learning more about them, what they do and what led them to settle here in White Salmon. How very fortunate we are to live where there is so much diversity, with unique gift shops, amazing food, wine and craft brew, and a myriad of artists and wellness professionals right in the heart of Downtown!
Here on our Explore White Salmon website and social media pages, we aim to focus on our immediate and nearby surrounding communities to promote and bring attention to these small businesses, while striving toward an emphasis on sustainable tourism, and do our best to keep you in the loop on upcoming events and happenings in and around White Salmon!

At the beginning of each month, we will partner with a local business in Downtown White Salmon. Each business owner will decide what they would like to donate. We will then highlight the details on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
