Gretchen and Chris, the new owners of the RubyJune Inn-formerly the Husum Riverside B & B, moved here from Bainbridge Island WA where they owned a small wine bar with a community that they dearly loved. Gretchen and Chris dreamt of taking their love for the bar and hospitality business and extending it to their home. “We wanted to live in a smaller, outdoor centered community where the mountains, trails, and waters were close at hand,” says Gretchen. They stumbled on the Inn for sale and decided this was just that place! The RubyJune Inn was named after Chris’s dear momma Ruby and Gretchen’s beloved grandmother June- two beautiful women who laughed often and always had a seat at the table for another. This place is in honor of them both.
