Jason Breeden
Jason Breeden is an abstract artist with a studio in downtown White Salmon.
Jason works primarily with ink and pen but he also experiments with markers, natural inks, gouache and egg tempera (pigment & egg based paint). He often uses found objects and trash for collages and incorporated in paintings. See for example his piece Gum Bow!
After high school, Jason studied English Literature and photography in Memphis, TN, and shortly thereafter, at the age of 19, attended San Francisco Art Institute. He then enrolled in Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and subsequently, started a music studio in Portland.
Aside from San Francisco and Paris, Jason has lived and/or shown his work in Vancouver, BC, New York City, Stockholm and Copenhagen. He now resides in the Columbia Gorge, near his studio.
Jason recently started making Giclée prints of select works, which are available for purchase. Originals and these custom sized prints can be seen by appointment in his studio, or by visiting his website at jasonbreeden.com. You can also find him on Instagram @sparse_camoflauge
