Join the White Salmon Wildflower Festival in raising funds for CultureSeed!  10% of Educational Workshops, Art Workshops, and Guided Wildflower Hikes, 20% of Guided Rafting, and 100% of the Wildflower Summit proceeds, and a portion of proceeds from the Wildflower Spring Wine Release will be donated to CultureSeed.

CultureSeed is a nonprofit organization serving youth in White Salmon and the Columbia River Gorge. CultureSeed is the only organization in our region offering youth free and long-term Outdoor Immersion, Outdoor Mentorship, and access to the Outdoor Economy—all with a focus on Mental Health.

Starting as early as 7th grade and continuing through high school and beyond, youth meet regularly for outings, overnights, peer circles, counseling, mentorship, and a summer outdoor adventure trip. CultureSeed also serves regional youth in Juvenile Detention and provides youth and their families with referrals, support groups, and a relief fund.

As youth advance through CultureSeed programming, they are matched with training and internships or work with CultureSeed as Junior Guides to gain professional outdoor experience. CultureSeed accompanies youth into young adulthood, increasing access to opportunities and wellness, diversifying the outdoors and the outdoor economy, as well as decentralizing and destigmatizing mental health.

CultureSeed counters a disconnected culture through our whole circle approach—a focus on long-term contact, wellness, the outdoors, community connection, and opportunities.
