Community Tailgate Party Friday September 8, 2023

Columbia High School invites you all to their Community Tailgate party taking place on Friday, September 8, 2023. This is the first major event of the new, upcoming school year. Tailgate Party

The Community Tailgate event will include music, food, raffle prizes, and more! Tickets can be purchased for game admission and food, provided by Murphy’s Watering Hole in Bingen, and are available to purchase until August 31st. The Tailgate event itself is open to everyone, and ticket purchase is not required.

Proceeds from the event will be directed to the newly organized Bruins Club, launched in an effort to raise money and bring community involvement to all of the sports programs of Columbia High School. Sean Ciemiewicz, the current President, recognizing the need to provide financial support to the High School sports programs, states that the mission of the Bruins Club will be to broaden the involvement of students, their families, the school and the community, by supporting the success of student athletics. “We believe this new organization will provide an opportunity for everyone in the White Salmon and Bingen communities to be involved with and support, the high school’s athletics programs” says Sean.

The objective of the not-for-profit Bruin Club is to generate donations and visibility, and to positively impact the community of the White Salmon-Bingen area, by creating outstanding fundraising events and experiences, not just for locals, but visitors as well, and encompass all age groups.

Ticket prices for the Community Tailgate are $25 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under, or $80 for a family of four. Your ticket includes game admission, pulled pork sandwich, chips, and a drink!
