A New Relationship With Art
The 2025 Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour
May 2 – 4, 2025, Daily hours 10am – 5 pm.
Spring in the spectacular Mid-Columbia Gorge and the 2025 Gorge Artists Open Studios tour go hand in hand! The Gorge Artists Open Studios tour continues to be a much anticipated and beloved yearly art event- proudly in its 19thyear! The tour continues to grow, with a consistent yet ever changing array of participating artists. A unique energy emerges each year.
A free, self-guided event, visitors are invited to find a new relationship with art as they experience first hand the creative talents of 48 artists and artisans in 42 studios, up close and personal. There is much to explore with art for every visitor’s taste and discovery – painting, pastel, watercolor, ink, printing, photography, ceramics, basketry, woodworking, fiber and textiles, jewelry, enamel and more.
“There simply isn’t a better way for people to see my paintings, view the workspace where I conceive and develop pieces, and answer questions about an art-fueled life. An open studio tour is a wonderful time to connect with the public and receive their valuable feedback.” Mary Rollins, Painting
This year 10 of the artists participating are doing so for the first time or are returning to the tour after a break. Find a new relationship with art. As you travel from studio to studio, branch out to visit an artist you have not met before or find an artist working in a medium you are unfamiliar with. Surprises are in store!
And, as you roam, explore the magnificent Mid-Columbia Gorge, teeming with natural beauty, eateries, breweries, wineries and countless shops within four counties- Hood River and Wasco Counties in Oregon and Skamania and Klickitat Counties in Washington. Look for our many business sponsors’ posting signage in their windows.
“Living in such a vibrant community that is supportive of the arts, I am excited to be included in this year’s Gorge Artist Open Studios Tour- to be part of a dynamic group of creative thinkers working in diverse media.” Joy Kloman, Painting
