Gorge Base Camp is close to the Hood River Bridge and the Mt Adams Visitor Information Center. Technically speaking, the Gorge Base Camp is in White Salmon. However, you are down the hill from downtown White Salmon next to Bingen, Washington. The RV park and campground are conveniently situated close to both Hood River and downtown White Salmon making this an ideal overnight spot for those looking to explore both sides of the Columbia River. Gorge Base Camp is primarily an RV park; however, it does have a grassy area for tent-only camping.
